The War On Drugs In Mexico

This is a story that should be of great concern to all American citizens. Because it poses an even greater threat to American citizens then Islamic extremists do at this point. I recently came across a site that the Mexican government hasn't managed to hush like they have the mainstream media in Mexico. If your naive enough to believe what the Mexican government is allowing the media to publish they have the upper hand on the drug Cartels that are operating just a few kilometers across or southern borders. The plain and simple truth of the matter is that the drug Cartels are getting stronger then ever, and the flow of drugs into the United States is at an all time high. The death tolls are rising on both side of the border and our President seems to think it doesn't warrant any more then a six hundred million dollar investment to protect citizens of this country. I realize that is a very large sum of money but it is estimated that the Mexican Cartels are making close to that amount monthly. From my point of view this is like standing on the rim of the Grand Canyon and trying to piss it full. Is he serious it seems so because he just signed a bill to provide the wholly inadequate amount of funding into law today. I for one am very concerned that President Obama and the rest of the Politicians in Washington just don't realize or want to admit just how large this problem really is. According to National Priorities.Org to date the war in Iraq has cost US tax payers "1.9 Trillion Dollars" and a mear "65.1 Billion Dollars" just this year alone. But we can only commit 600 million to protect our Citizens from the Mexican drug cartels that are every bit as ruthless as the Islamic Extremists and a whole lot closer to home. To prove my point I added an image of a man that was found beheaded just south of our border a few days ago. I apologize for the graphic nature of the image but it was necessary to prove my point which is. If they are willing to commit these types of horrific crimes on their own people what do you think they would do to us or even worse one of our children. I'm sincerely sorry if the image offended any of my readers, but I used it to provoke you to take action write your Congress men and any one else in our Government that has the power to help change the extremely over tolerant policies of our current President and the rest of the Politicians currently in charge of how our borders are being secured. Because if we as Citizens of the United States don't take action soon I fear it wont be long before they will be finding this type of atrocities on US soil.
