Former President Bill Clinton Warns Democrats: It's always a mistake to underestimate your Opponent

For Democrats who think a Sarah Palin run for President would be a blessing for their embattled party, former President Bill Clinton has this warning. "Think Again"
In an interview with his former White House adviser George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America, on Tuesday, Clinton said "it's always a mistake to underestimate your opponent"
After dodging a question over whether or not Palin is qualified to be president, Clinton noted the former Alaska governor's popularity among conservatives, "calling her a compeling, attractive figure." "The American people can elect whomever they they want," Clinton said.
On the campaign trail, Palin has proven to be extremely effective, with 25 of the 43 candidates she has endorsed winning primaries. Despitte recent polls which show low favorability ratings for Palin, the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee draws huge crowds wherever she goes.
Time magazine political analyst Mark Halperin compared Palin to Clinton in his column last Monday. When asked about the comparison, Clinton let out a big laugh.
