Palin Backing O'Donnell Senate Campaign

As the 2010 general election draws near Tea Party candidates are starting to gain momentum with the endorsement of political heavy hitters such as Sarah Palin. On Thursday September 29th the former Governor of Alaska publicly endorsed Tea Party Candidate Christine O'Donnell in her bitter primary against Rep. Mike Castle. Castle, a nine-term member of Congress and a two-term governor, raised $3.2 million and had $2.6 million cash on hand according to documents filed with the FEC on September 25th. O'Donnell on the other hand has ran a campaign that was severely under funded and has still managed to stay neck and neck with the nine term congressmen and two term governor Rep Mike Castle. She O'Donnell believes  that the endorsement from Palin, will give her campaign the little push it needs to make her the winner on election day. "Please support Christine O'Donnell in Delaware," Palin wrote to her supporters on Facebook. "She will support efforts for America's energy security, patient-centered health care reform, cutting government waste and letting the private sector thrive and prosper!"
